Uses and Target Audience
Suitable for electricians, home setups, and offices requiring extension leads with these specifications.
Consolidate multiple devices into one point in your home or office. Choose the appropriate outlet layout for your device plugs, and leave enough space for large adapters without overcrowding adjacent sockets.
Installation and Use
Total appliance load must remain within the maximum capacity allowed by the extension and the wall socket. More outlets do not increase power capacity. Do not daisy-chain extension leads, and do not assume surge protection or suitability for damp locations unless explicitly stated on the product.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the number of outlets increase available power?
No; the total load of the devices must remain within the rating of the extension lead and the wall socket. Check the reel rating for both coiled and uncoiled states, and do not connect multiple extension leads in series.
